Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 22, 2026

1. General Policy

As a general rule, purchases of digital products, AI generation credits, and subscription services on Folio Labs are non-refundable once consumed. We review refund-related requests on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

2. When Refunds May Be Considered

We may offer a refund or account credit in the following situations:

  • Billing errors: Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized transactions
  • Service failure: Extended service outages or inability to access core features for more than 48 hours due to issues on our side
  • Provider-side failures: If a third-party AI provider fails to generate your render after credits have been deducted, we automatically refund the credits to your account
  • Pre-launch cancellations: Cancellation before service activation or first use of purchased credits

3. What Is Not Refundable

  • Credits, tokens, or generation capacity already consumed
  • Change of mind after using the Service
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality or style (renders are creative interpretations, not guaranteed outcomes)
  • Issues caused by third-party integrations or services outside our control
  • Account suspension due to Terms of Service violations

4. Subscription Cancellations

Cancelling a subscription is different from requesting a refund:

  • Cancellation: Stops future renewals. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refund: Returns payment for unused or unsatisfactory service, reviewed case-by-case.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the pricing page or account settings at any time.

5. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to support@foliolabs.design with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Order number or transaction ID
  • Date of purchase
  • Detailed reason for the refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 1–2 business days and provide a decision within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

6. Credits Compensation for Failed Generations

Folio Labs automatically refunds credits to your account balance when a generation fails due to a provider-side error after credits have been deducted. This happens without requiring a support request. If you believe credits were deducted incorrectly, please contact support@foliolabs.design.

7. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and will apply to purchases made after the effective date.
